Nur E Jannat Moon is graduate student at the Department of Politics and Government at ISU. Coming from Bangladesh, she completed her Bachelors of Arts degree from Asian University for Women with Politics, Philosophy and Economics (PPE) major. After graduation, she joined Democracy International (DI) and worked under the Strengthening Political Landscape project in Bangladesh for three years. As a Program Officer at DI, she worked for the capacity building; and leadership development of grassroots level political leaders, especially women and youth leaders, in Bangladesh. Her academic research interests include role of institutions in democracy, political economy of South Asian regions, and socio-political dynamics in hybrid regimes. She expects to graduate from ISU in 2023 and pursue her research interests with further studies.
