I completed my undergraduate degree at Illinois State University in the Spring of 2020 where I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. With a focus on Global Politics, I began my master’s degree in Political Science at ISU in the Fall of 2020. I plan to graduate in the Spring of 2022 and then I hope to begin preparing for a PhD. My research interests include extremism, human rights, international organizations, political and economic development, and social movements.
As an undergraduate, I worked with a variety of state and local representatives, founded an RSO alongside the Office of Sustainability as an effort to certify ISU as a Fair Trade Campus, participated in Model United Nations in 2019 and (remotely) in 2020, completed an independent study on Fair Trade in Costa Rica in 2019, and have been working at a cooperatively owned grocery store in Bloomington-Normal since the summer of 2019.
