My name is Jeff Walsh. I am a first year student and Peace Corps Fellow in the Applied Economic and Community Development (ACED) program with an emphasis on Politics and Government.
I have a B.A. in Psychology from DePaul University in Chicago. I spent many years working for state and national government agencies both stateside and abroad including the Peace Corps. Just before I left for the Peace Corps, I taught English as a Second Language to law students in Beijing, China and was responsible for arranging for Fulbright speakers to come to my university. While in the Peace Corps in South Africa I hosted a “Nelson Mandela Day” and received 500 desks for my school through the Desmond Tutu Foundation.
My research interests include American Veterans Affairs, political systems of the world and the geopolitics of US Foreign Policy in the Far East.
